Central Vietnam Kid friendly Vacations

The Brilliant lives up to its name in almost every respect. The attentive staff, the banquet of options at the breakfast buffet, the lovely rooftop bar with an excellent view of the Dragon Bridge – – all these things made our stay very enjoyable. However, do not book this hotel if you count on swimming. The pool is murky and green, and obviously needs some filtration work. But this is a minor point, as there are plenty of other things to do in Da Nang within easy walking distance of the Brilliant.

It’s lovely hotel in good location and beautiful pool. Staff was good but after being and traveling in Vietnam for 8 years was not up to par with most Vietnam staff going the extra mile. Room had old style electric outlets that I needed adapter to use my computer. The room was spacious but some things didn’t make sense where light switches were and in bathroom. But still enjoyed my stay in hoi a for the 4th time.

Beautiful tropical gardens with pools. Lovely rooms, peaceful, caring staff.

We stayed at Furama Resort Danang, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and even though I didn’t have time to visit them, just knowing they were there felt reassuring. The resort itself is very large, especially the restaurants—they are impressively spacious. The hotel sits right on the beach, and the property is beautiful and well-maintained, with a classic Vietnamese resort atmosphere and a strong sense of heritage. That said, one issue stood out. Some staff members, particularly at the main restaurant, struggled significantly with English. One staff member did not understand even a very basic word like “pen,” which left me genuinely confused about whether it was a language barrier or a communication issue. It was a bit frustrating in the moment. On the positive side, the hotel offers good dining options. The Italian restaurant inside the resort was especially good. Overall, despite the language challenges, the hotel’s location, beachfront setting, beautiful design, and heritage make it a place I would still recommend, particularly for travelers looking for a traditional Vietnamese-style resort experience.
