The hotel is good and conveniently located near the train station. The room, common areas, and beds were very clean.
However, the room had poor ventilation and there was no air conditioning. The room felt like an oven all the time, and I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would be during extremely hot days. The television did not work, and there was also no hot water in the shower

The hotel is a cute little place, it is a little outdated with old carpets (my single room) but it was perfect for what it was! The bed was comfy, nothing special. I liked that there was a tub, a desk and a separate chair. This spot is perfect for solo travellers in a cute area, close to transit. Staff was nice, the room was larger than I expected. The walls are thin so you can hear everything. There is a small elevator, but the stairs are not to bad. The area is quiet with a park across. Known for protests and lots of kids. Two separate things could be happening in there. Lots of food in and around the area. 20 min walk to Dusseldorf hbf

Excellent location close to the Koenigsallee, very friendly and attentive staff. I stayed in an upgraded renovated room - appreciated the choice of bed time pillows. Great restaurant with contemporary European - German cuisine, also focus on locally sourced ingredients.
