There is only instant coffee, no water or sparkling water in the room , no sparkling water at breakfast. No coffee in the hotel after breakfast , no restaurant in the hotel after breakfast. In other words if ur satisfied walking the streets for a lunch or dinner and you don't enjoy sparkling or filter or nespresso coffee then this is the place for you, and I forgot to mention they won't call cabs unless ur going to the airport, Personally had I known this I wouldn't have booked here.

Staff was incredible! Location, rooftop bar, spa and facilities were outstanding! I would highly recommend Sea Containers!

Excellent modern hotel, well located in Shoreditch. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed 5 nights. There were many good qualities of this hotel but it certainly did not live up to our expectations of a five star hotel. Most significantly, the thermostat in our room did not actually control the temperature in the room. We spent five hot days and nights. We called several times to have this addressed and were given thinner blankets, but they did not seem able to fix it, nor did they offer any acknowledgment that it was an unacceptable situation. Fortunately, two of the windows cracked open, so that helped relieve the heat, but it could not keep the room cool. As well, the coffee machine in the room did not work, and after having it replaced, it still did not work, and finally did so on the third time. Strangely, there was a TV in the shower, but it didn’t work either! The staff was generally not very friendly, and the front desk was often unattended. Communication with the staff did not improve the experience. Again, not what you expect from a five star hotel. Here is what was good about the Hotel: The beds were comfortable. It was well decorated and our room was spacious. We had paid for an upgrade. There was room for our luggage and drawers to unpack into. There was a bathtub. There were complimentary snacks and drinks in the room. This is an extremely well located hotel if you want to be in a thriving residential neighborhood and close to the metro. We did not eat in the hotel so I cannot speak to their food. Sadly, I would not return.

The location of the property was great! It was two blocks away from from the High Street Kensington stop, a block away from the Kensington palace, and directly across the street from a great pub, the Goat Tavern. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was outstanding and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a Deluxe Studio which had a huge bathroom, and included a walk-in shower, a soaking tub, nice towels, and great toiletries. The hotel could use some upgrading/modernizing of the bedroom area, to include getting a more comfortable bed/mattress and an upgraded hair dryer.

Loved - loved- loved this hotel! The room was great & the location was fantastic. Great restaurant & pub on the property. The staff here were absolutely amazing!! The staff went above & beyond to make our stay exceptional. I would love to stay here again sometime. 👌💖

Totally professional and friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. Great breakfast with good choices and delicious food in the restaurant for lunch/dinner. Everywhere spotlessly clean and such a wonderful location, whether you want theatres or for sightseeing. That’s why we keep returning to this hotel when visiting London. Highly recommend!
