Heart of England Kid friendly Vacations

We had 2 rooms. In one room, the AC unit didn't work - and London had a heat wave during that time. In the other room, the bathroom was incredibly small. The staff changed our rooms to somewhat better rooms. Bathrooms were in general less spacious. Water temperature was changing between hot and cold repeatedly during shower.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff are all wonderful and friendly and helpful. Everyone from the doormen to reception, restaurant staff, right through to the staff who cleaned our rooms were all so nice and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with an excellent selection and opportunity to order an omelette if you wished. Our room was nice, very clean and a good size. Staff turned down your room in the evening. Only removed one star because in places the hotel needs a little bit of refurbishment. But we had a truly wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

The best In london. Amazing place and nothing is too much for them. I got my Paddington tickets through the Guest Relations desk - no one else could have done that!

It was all great until my room flooded, and although I was moved rooms and told I was upgraded (no difference in the room other than having a worse view), I wasn’t even provided a discount on my stay for the inconvenience of having to move rooms in the middle of the night. Also had a coworker who go stuck in the elevator. Otherwise- the breakfast buffet was amazing.
