Romania Kid friendly Vacations

Actually I gave a very low score mostly because of the restaurant. Food in the restaurant is a shame . Lowest quality, very high price for frozen food , and it tasted awful. We ate a couple bites and stopped . Waiter asked if we are done and we said yes , so he cleared the table . It did not seem to him odd that four people did not eat . He never asked if everything is ok …we were too tired to start an argument . Shame . The other thing is the counter staff . I was at the counter twice . Not a single smile , no greeting , not friendly at all , and no knowledge of basic things like the parking . You have to train the staff better .

First hotel we stayed when we arrived in Bucharest. The hotel was well maintained and staffs were friendly. The locations was little out of way of main areas of attraction but it was a nice place to relax after a long flight.

For one night stay at the airport the hotel was a perfect choice and the staff was very helpful.

Under no circumstances stay at this property. It is expensive and definitely not worth the money. As a result of a cancelled river cruise we had to bring our booking forward, this too was expensive to do. Securing flights home was difficult so when we arrived at the Radisson I had the female receptionist, I have been latter told she is a supervisor, book us in for an extra night. She confirmed this was done and that we could stay in the same room. When we returned to the Hotel at 4pm today our key did not work. When I enquired with the two receptionists on duty I was informed that we did not have a booking. Moreover the Hotel is full.We were told that we could go to the other Radisson Blue next door"….I don’t think so. We found other accommodation, packed our bags and were off in the night. Just some other things to consider about this property. There is no obvious ramp so we had to lug our suitcases up six steep and shallow stairs and then another three similar stairs. It is like a rabbit warren getting from reception to, in our case, the red building. Using the access key before you get to the lift is an art form. Passage to our room was just grotty. We had a junior suite which was just OK but not worth the money paid. You need to keep moving in the shower in order to get wet as the water pressure is abysmal, so don’t use too many suds cause you will not get them off. Breakfast was very sub standard. Where’s Radisson Blue has a reputation as excellent breakfast
