The place was great but the staff and the rules were not. First one bathroom had no toilet paper and the other less than half a roll. I asked for some and they acted as if I was lying and gave me 1 roll and said when I was out I had to go buy some. That is not a “resort” normality. They also charge you a cleaning fee at check in but require you take out the trash (okay), load the dishwasher (fine), but then say wash and unload dishwasher before you leave at 11. Considering that the washer takes 3 hrs to complete you need to get up before 7 to have time for breakfast and cleaning…and eat or drink nothing else. Again NOT “resort” norms.

We chose the hotel for proximity to the MECC. Great location, parking isn't included in the price. The lobby was very pleasant and had plenty of seating. The rooms are very dated and need a makeover. TV was very small and only had a couple of channels working. We tried to get some food in the evening to take back to our room following a long and tiring day, we waited over an hour for a simple dish. The staff were fabulous but the system is not working to support them.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed renting bicycles from the hotel.

Nice hotel across from the railway station. Great hot breakfast. Clean room.

Room was rather tired. The sink tap was not in the correct position and the sink plug was sticking and not properly maintained. The glass screen on the shower was sharp and needed a soft edge to mark the position as users could walk into it as it was difficult to see.

This is an exceptionally nice hotel - the staff are helpful & attentive, and the rooms & facilities are excellent.

Incredible place to stay. Beautiful, unique, cozy, special, and very comfortable. Highly recommend! I hope to return.

Overall a lovely and busy hotel in a great location. Enjoyed the spa treatment I had as well. Rooms were clean and modern with all usual extras you would expect. Breakfast- unfortunately the biggest disappointment. Had to queue and wait for a table to become free every morning. The omelette station was extremely slow and waited 20 minutes every morning. Staff were stressed out, I heard them arguing between each other and saying Jesus Christ several times. Waited 15 mins for more bacon to arrive and no pork sausages.

Hotel is obviously a heritage building and older, we enjoyed our stay though, for the price and the location it's hard to beat especially considering in Amsterdam why would you be spending much time in the hotel anyways

Great for what I needed.

The room was small but was clean and comfortable with a really nice shower and bathroom. Staff were great. Check in was straight forward. And we loved the location. Would def stay again!
