The property was mostly as advertised and I would have rated it good. However there are no wall fixtures, no carpet, and light sheers covering the window. Which allowed the room to echo quite loudly. Also other rooms would echo the same. It was very load with adjacent room noise at 3 am. The direction of noise was hard to pinpoint with the lack of noise suppressant material. It would be very beneficial to add sound proofing wall coverings between the rooms at a reasonable price and easy to install. I have done the same in my own apartment and it is very affective. The check in counter is very high so communication with the receptionist was a bit difficult. On my way to the elevators, the lobby had a sewage smell which was unpleasant. The room was equipped with a flat screen TV with decent movie channels and got to enjoy movies while I rested. If you needed a quick coffee, tea or water that was also provided. The room was neat however so were the sheets which were fresh and clean with a comfortable bed and room size overall was adequate. There was a nice balcony I would go out on to enjoy the sunshine. Unfortunately the toilet had a permanent stain on the seat which looked like it wasn’t clean and did not flush as well and had to request that it be fixed which was inconvenient. I would have expected the hotel to ensure that the toilet is in perfect condition beforehand. Some areas of the room were dusty, especially in the closets. Overall not a bad experience but it could have been a better experience if more attention was spent with the fine details.

We've booked two rooms, same booking, On arrival, without any prior notice nor clear explanation, we've been told that one out of the two rooms was cancelled. Further to this they didn't want to grant us the refound of the second room (according to these "gentlemen" one of us had to leave and look for another hotel but the other one was forced to stay or lose the money... ). We had a tight schedule and this has been extremely disappointing. Worst experience ever. Further to this they do not serve alcohol in the bar.

We arrived early September and it was 95+ degrees. We were first sent to room 412. A Riverview on the top floor. Room never cooled down and they control the air conditioning. At 10 o’clock that night we were moved to room 312 directly below us which was an inferior room. They never adjusted our price. It was a cooler room, thankfully. However, the bathrooms in both rooms looked like aluminum containers that were welded to the floors in the middle of the rooms and had 4 inch lips between the room floor and the bathroom, which one could easily trip on. Also as a sidenote, the television in room 412 was a wonderful television with HD vision and clear picture. However, the one in room 312 was an extremely smaller television with no HD and grainy picture. Every day, however we were locked out of room 312 and always had to get re-keyed every time we returned to the room. Another problem was that every morning they turn off your air conditioning and don’t tell you that they turn it off. You have to call to get it turned back on because it’s hot. Another issue is the extreme overnight noise they don’t advertise but the next day you discover the ear plugs in the room. My sister however had an amazing room on the second floor over the restaurant. She paid the same price I did and got much superior accommodations. Ask for that side of the hotel if you decide to stay there. But, you should really stay at the Corpo Santo hotel. I should’ve trusted my intuition stayed there instead!!

Location & view were amazing. Loved the outside veranda. Would recommend property.

Overall, I had a very good stay. The hotel was comfortable, well located, and everything was pretty much as expected. I did have an issue with the key/code system during my stay, which was a little frustrating, but the staff were extremely helpful and did their best to resolve it quickly. Overall, a good experience and I was happy with my stay.

Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom very nice and clean but a little small, water pressure good.
