Risoul 1850 Golf Vacations

What a great choice to spend my birthday! After coming from Paris, from another great hotel, I have to say that the Carlton in Cannes is a marvel!! Their staff is what we loved the most, they are all fantastic!! From their bellmen to their managers, all attentive, friendly, professional and charming. We loved our room, have zero complaints, beautiful well maintained property, and the view is perfect. We will definitely return!! Thank you Carlton for taking care of us! We enjoyed our vacation and will tell our friends and family to come to you for a perfect vacation time.

Overall a good experience, but by any means a great experience. For a hotel with these ratings, the expectations are not met: none of the showers worked properly- one was leaking, the other one didn’t work. The room is market as it has a balcony with ocean view: that was true, as was ‘some’ ocean view, otherwise it was a lot of ‘roof view’ of the adjacent building. Some of staff members was trying to do their best (the valet team was fantastic as they have a very hard job to move the luggage up and down on a lot of stairs), but some of them just average not something expected from a hotel with such ratings … and rates (ie at check out they charged us one night more for the parking, the offer for transportation was just outrageous- ie 3 times the taxi rates for same type of car…). On the other hand, pleas do yourself a favor and don’t go to the hotel’s restaurant: the service is just bad and the food not so great either (at least for the expectation from a Michelin star restaurant). Let’s start with the reservation: we asked for dinner reservation, and they booked us at 8:00 pm, when the best time is 7:00 pm so you can enjoy the sunset- they didn’t mention / offer this, albeit the restaurant was half booked when we arrived. They asked for formal dressing: don’t worry - they do not reinforce: the people are showing up in T shirts and flip flops. Now the service: we asked for sparkling water, obviously they brought us still water; they brought us the drinks ordered by others …

We stayed at this hotel for 14 days. It was exceptionally clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Everyone in the concierge department was also very helpful. Rami, in particular, was incredibly gracious and helpful in assisting us in exploring the town and its surroundings. We will definitely be returning. Wonderful stay! The service was excellent, the location was perfect with easy access to Monaco, and the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our choice and would absolutely stay here again.

Staff at the reception are very helpful and friendly. Imane was impeccable in her service.

Gorgeous little hotel in an amazing location. Would return.

We really enjoyed staying at Hotel West End. The location along the Promenade Anglais was excellent and in short walking distance of the Old Town and Castle Hill. We checked in and the hotel staff got us into our room in less than 15 minutes. The service was impeccable. I felt like I was transported back in time. I would definitely stay here again.
