Great location! For those traveling by train, it is a 5 min walk from the Epesses train stop. From that train stop, there is access to a beach within 1 min. Since suits were optional that day, my young girls and I walked 10 min west to a grassy, shady beach area being used by many locals. It is a rocky beach and recommend water shoes. Just to the side of the hotel is a trail you can walk up along the vineyards. We enjoyed watching the sunset from this vantage point, although the hotel does offer a rooftop terrace to do so as well. The restaurant was great for dinner! The hotel is along a busy road. Our room faced the vineyard wall, which was fine with us. Since we were there during some extreme heat, we greatly appreciated the air conditioning! The beds and pillows were great! No noise issues. Some minor building wear was visible, but easy to look past given the price point, location, safety and cleanliness!

The baths and spa were great and our kids and us had an amazing time floating in the lazy river, going down the water slides, and enjoying the grass park area. The hotel was ok. We stayed in one of the family apartments and I think I’d have actually preferred to stay in the actual hotel. First of all our check in wasn’t till 4p when Expedia said 3p and that was frustrating. And then once we got into the unit we got a whopping 1 cup of coffee which wasn’t great. I think we’d go back here but change some things next time.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. They gave us a deluxe suite with beautiful intricate detailed woodwork along with modern amenities. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The pictures on the Internet are very good, but no pictures are able to capture the actual beauty or atmosphere when you are really there inside the place. Absolutely amazing..

Wonderful hotel. Bit of a walk from the train station, but it's well worth it. The staff were wonderful. always so helpful and willing to share advice - which was very useful while the G7 protest was going on. The choice from the breakfast buffet was perfect for my taste. Regretably, I didn't make use of the bar - but there is always next time! The hotel is really nicely situated in a quiet area, not far from the lake edge. I will definately be coming back to this hotel.
