Loved it and perfect for little break in Prague - staff were amazing

Be sure to tell them don’t enter your room when you’re gone. I used an iron from them and the next morning it was gone :(. That means came in my room with my consent. Overall great place

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Before arriving, we messaged the hotel to arrange an airport shuttle, which brought us directly from the airport to the hotel’s front door—very convenient. Check-in was fast and smooth, and our room was beautiful with a classic Prague style. One of the highlights was the beer spa located in the same building. Being able to schedule it on-site was incredibly convenient, especially since you come out a bit wet. We simply wrapped ourselves in towels, dried off a little, put our shoes back on, and walked straight to our room. It made the whole experience easy and relaxing. The location of the hotel was excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. Even arriving late at night, we were able to walk just around the building and find a traditional Prague restaurant where we enjoyed warm goulash served in a bread bowl—absolutely delicious. The next morning, the nearby cafés were open, and there was even a small pop-up bar serving eggnog, which was surprisingly great. The hotel staff was also very helpful and assisted us in securing a dinner cruise reservation, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, heavy fog rolled into Prague that night, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the nightlife or views, but the dinner cruise was still worth it for the food, atmosphere, and people. The only downside of our stay was with the return airport shuttle. We were given one price by the hotel, but the driver quoted a different price during the ride.

The location is great. The accommodation is good. The orange juice at breakfast isn’t good - it’s watery - and the scrambled eggs you could bounce off a wall. However the rest of the breakfast was nice. The staff are lacking charm or interest. Reception, breakfast and the bar were all the same - no warmth or willingness to engage. They just sit (Reception) or stand there (bar and breakfast ), often just flicking thru their mobile phones. They don’t seem to really want to be there - and it made me feel the same.

Highly recommend this place. This is a nice hotel with friendly staff. We received a free welcome glass of champagne which was refreshing.

The location was the best part of the stay (apart from the breakfast); right in the heart of Old Town and walking distance to everything. Our Uber had to drop us off a very short distance away necessitating us to lug our luggage for 40 secs or so. Not a big deal! Removed 1 star because of a check-in snafu. The room given had 2 single beds (for a couple) because the hotel was fully booked and despite we making the reservations 3 months in advance. The room felt like a converted attic with the beds perpendicular to each other. There wasn't enough space to join them or bring them together. The shower was whole another issue with the showerhead so low that anyone above 5ft7in wouldn't be able to use it properly. We stayed for 2 nights but kept feeling the hotel stiffed us on the room with no compensation / the day manager not even bothering to come and talk to us. The breakfast spread was good and sitting in the room facing the Astronomical Clock Tower was a treat in itself. Would have rated this 7/5 given the history of the building, amenities, location if not for the room issue. Expedia Support was on point and worked with me quickly but they also couldn't do anything.
