Austrian Alps Cheap Vacations

I found black hairs through out my room, we reserved the wellness space to wrap up our trip, I spoke with 3 different people to ensure the space would be ready for us, it was not - I was brought down in the pitch black & the sauna was not on - I understand there can be issues, but the issue should have been known before trying to use the space - also, the bath tub is way too high, I slipped trying to get out which left a bruise

Great location and wonderful breakfast

Worst bed of my life. When was the mattress last changed? Tried to ask the concierge about a trip to Neuschwanstein but he did not show up to work that that day so a gentleman at the front desk suggested for me to take a taxi. I asked about a tour instead but he still suggested taxi. From afar, I watched an elderly lady getting into the elevator. Her wheel could not cross the barrier from the floor to the elevator. A staff member was right behind her and just watched her struggle until she could haul the suitcase onto the elevator. Shameful. Other than that, the property is ideally located if you are using the train / central station. As you would expect from the Sofitel, the lobby is welcoming and smells nice. Rooms have nice amenities as well. Sofitel - Check your beds and educate your staff. Then I’ll be back. Other than that, property

A pretty hotel, but a little out of the way. Unfortunately the amenities were nowhere near five star standard. The balcony promised was not provided, the wifi was so bad as to be useless, and the fifteen year old tv didn’t provide any streaming provision leaving you with only German over the air tv. All in all very disappointing for what should have been a memorable five star experience.
