Great location, staff very friendly and really nice hotel.

Would be good to have more incentives for hotel dining or even free items at check in

When we first walked in it seemed lovely. But there are a few things that definitely need your attention. The ensuite bathroom was a disaster. The toilet continually filled up 24 hours a day...there was black hair all over the floor , there was mould in the shower, the right hand sink wouldn't drain so we didn't use it at all and the smell coming out of the drain was awful. You told us to use the towels from our room for the pool and spa,,but what we were supposed to use when we came back to shower? In the kitchen you need at least one tea towel to dry the few dishes we used and more detergent. The beds were comfy and linen was nice. There needs to be better communication about where to check in as well. We wandered around for ages trying to find out where to go.

We found the staff to be welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We had a lower floor apartment (on request) which was well appointed and spotless. Having a laundry option was important to us as we were staying for 7 days over Christmas. The pool facilities were also an incentive for booking. The food options in the area were fantastic for both breakfasts and dinners. We used First Parking, 558 Little Bourke Street and paid for 7 days. Unlimited entry/exit. Only a few mins walk to Aspire. We would highly recommend and would use again on a future visit to Melbourne.

The I e. Would have been 5 but there were things that did not work and should have.

Although my reservation was for three, the extra bed was not ready and it took 45 minutes to get it, which was way too long considering it was late night. Other than that it was a great stay - unbeatable location, really soundproof room, good bedding. I wish there was more light in the shower itself.

Everything was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Early check in. Great breakfast.

Wonderful with a great location

Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was central and very convenient for what I needed while in Melbourne. Room was quite functional for storage and layout. Overall I was happy with my stay. Being from North America I could not believe there was no ice available. In general the room was clean but the shower could use a real thorough deep clean because tiles and faucets had mold/mildew. My bathroom sink was not draining properly from my arrival and even though I reported it and apparently a service request was submitted it wasn’t fixed until the morning I was checking out. Also the TV remote wasn’t working and took some assistance from the manager to get a second type to be able to change channels. Couldn’t make outgoing calls from room phone and quite a few times when I tried calling reception with questions no one was available.
