Northwest Tampa Cheap Vacations

Quick check-in, helpful staff, great beach location. Room clean. But resort overall is dated prob a solid 3 star resort butt i think its supposed to be a 4 star resort..

Staff was courteous, location was clean and the drink and daily specials were fantastic! The loud skeeball game in the lobby was very distracting and the transportation to and from the Island Grand could be improved (esp for people with mobility issues)

Our stay was just Ok. Not the best location. The large pool was not heated (very cold), it was recently remodeled, however, they skipped remodeling the bathrooms. The sinks and showers are old with a new shower curtain. The service is difficult, as in it’s very hard to get them to pick up the phone. Room service is ok, just to go items in plastic and paper bag delivered to the room. On a positive note, the restaurant on site, Luma, is good for dinner. As far as breakfast goes, it does offer healthy items, but a little too frou frou for kids. Not that the hotel can control the wind, but it was very windy, so going in the ocean was definitely not an option and sitting in the beach was very windy.

Kind staff. Clean room. Needed pillows and towels and they were responsive. Bartender was friendly. When checking in said yes to room refresh next day, but didn’t receive. Could not find toilet tissue dispenser??
