South of France Beach Vacations

Little far from downtown but nice place to stay for a day or two. Staff were very friendly.

Stayed a few times, always clean and tidy, staff very nice too.

The location is good just a few minutes walk to the tram or bus station. My room is 404 which has a sea view. But there is a drain smell once you open the room door, and the stink becomes stronger when you open the toilet door, the terrible smell comes from all the drains such as the kitchen sink, the shower tub, the toilet bowl, and the toilet sink. Keep the toilet door closed does help, but imagine when you are using the toilet you are breathing in the great stink!

Great location, BUT I found that the restaurants we liked were about a mile east. If i had to stay again, I would probably stay more East in Nice. But great location regardless. Clean hotel, friendly staff, will provide beach towels, nice area to hang out outside.

On this visit I was placed in a room with French doors that opened onto a balcony with cocktail table and a scenic view. Just as before the room, staff, a/c, and WiFi were all ideal. Hotel Univers is a hidden gem just outside of Old Town.

Breakfast seating had a beautiful view of beach. The staff in the bar and pool area was very professional and very nice.

Very good staff, clean rooms, great spa. Not so good location on a bit of a noisy road.

This is an amazing hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful bedroom with a side view so you could see the sea. The breakfast was amazing, You can’t get better my second stay here. The hotel is close to the old town, restaurants and shops, Definitely be going back .

Quaint hotel at the bottom of the train station next to the tennis club. Lovely outside sitting area with lemon trees. Staff were attentive and helpful after my luggage was lost by the airline.

We stayed in Novotel for a few days for a relative wedding in Le meridian , Novotel location was excellent right in the middle of everything , the hotel was new was much more modern than Le meridien . The pool and resto food was good. The staff was nice, in particular Sandra she was very helpful and professional .

Parking was challenging, street meter parking only, about 20-30 minutes from beach area, staff was very quiet, not very helpful.
