Frutigen District Beach Vacations

Room was perfect for 3 of us, clean and roomy. Front desk staff were very helpful in helping us navigate the city for a 1 night stay

The reception staff was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the area, fluent in multiple languages and really helpful with information and assistance supplying us for our weekend stay. Apartment was clean, roomy and had everything we needed to stay in or go out (including much needed Nespresso and umbrellas). Everything is very walkable from the location. Was made to feel like a special guest.

Upon checking in on the first night, the hotel informed me that all hotel bookings required breakfast to be included. I explained that I had booked through Expedia, and breakfast was not included. The hotel threatened to charge an additional 40 CHF per person per day, which I stated was not in the Expedia terms and conditions. I told them the hotel needed to discuss this with Expedia, and they insisted on charging me. I refused and threatened to cancel the entire booking. They then agreed and said they would negotiate with Expedia. Ultimately, the hotel apologized as it was an issue between them and Expedia, not my concern. The matter was resolved amicably, but it was an unfortunate incident on the first day of my stay, as it was very upsetting. Otherwise, everything was fine; I slept comfortably, and the hotel was quite clean.

Beautiful brand new hotel that is directly across from the main train platforms. Super convenient for exploring the area. Also the breakfast included with our stay was the best free hotel breakfast of our entire trip. Great selection and fantastic cappuccino’s.
