Apo Island Beach Vacations

Our stay was really good the staff are very friendly and helpful.The road to the resort is a bit of a challenge.

Coco Grove Beach Resort exceeded my expectations. I especially loved that it's not an oversized resort, so you can easily walk back to your room from anywhere on the property. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and welcoming. The landscaping is beautiful and gives the whole resort a peaceful, tropical feel. The restaurants are reasonably priced, the two large pools (plus a smaller relaxation pool) mean it's always easy to find a quiet spot, and the complimentary port transfers were a great touch. The beach is part of a marine sanctuary, so the snorkeling is fantastic. Expect to meet Nemo and plenty of his friends. The WiFi was also the best I experienced anywhere in the Philippines, consistently fast and reliable. As a bonus, the resort has a smaller sister property about a five-minute walk down the same beach, and guests have access to it as well if they feel like a change of scenery. My only small observation is that some of the restaurant staff occasionally looked a bit overworked, although they never stopped smiling and providing great service. You can rent a motorbike at the resort, which I did, but I returned not long after because, honestly, why leave paradise?
