For its location close to people I was meeting, hotel Himalaya is my choice always. This time I noticed they have done some renovation to the lobby and úpgrade if lift, that is good, but after check in I do noticed that the room is tied, bathroom also need upgrade - shower head is old and not one would expect on a premium hotel. Electrical had been around for a long time and a more complete upgrade of room is truly needed. Hence my rating of only good this time.

My husband and I stayed for several nights and were delighted by the whole experience. The staff are very kind and the service was impeccable. The location is ideal for exploring Boudha area and the delicious and fairly-priced on-site restaurant made it easy to improvise plans each day. Truly exceptional property. We can’t wait to return.
