I have stayed at the property several times before in the last 13 years and like the location. It is a beautiful property in need of a makeover in the rooms. The beach area is always clean and the layout is nice. However, when we entered the hotel the first impression this time was not so good. The lady at the desk was abrupt and rude. She was asking us to sign a waiver and when my 25 year old daughter asked a question, she turned to her and said I am talking to your mother! wow! They charged me extra for 3 people in a 2 queen bed room and the self park was 40 dollars a day or 45 for the valet. that seemed a lot. THEN, we went to our room and the floors had not been vacuumed or cleaned very well. In fact, it was a joke for the whole week about a piece of string that stayed on the floor the whole time. We constantly had to ask for more towels and cups because we were 3 not 2. They also told me they would clean the room every other day and change the sheets. THEY DID NOT. There was a spot on the sheet on one of the beds and when they cleaned the room it was still there, but looked like they hit it with a TIDE pen. LOL. Someone told me new owners, WELL You Gotta DO BETTER! If I ever get to go back, I will definitely seek another property.

Location is amazing. Fun right out front door. Room was clean the pool area was well kept. I would rent here again.

Property was clean on the outside. Easy access to housekeeping through text which was very convenient. But hard time book activities at hotel online.

Rooms clean and comfortable beds. Beach is awesome and restaurants beautiful beachview. Cons: Outdoor nightly crowd noise due to street performers can be disturbing.

Overall Okay, But Value for Money Falls Short The hotel was overall okay, with some definite positives. The location is great, offering plenty of dining options within easy reach. The swimming pool is a good size, and the room itself was decent. However, I left feeling that the pricing doesn't align with the value provided. The "free breakfast" is a prime example of this. It's essentially a hoax; they should really call it "free 1 item and 1 juice." We went to the on-site Monkeypod restaurant expecting a proper breakfast, but were only allowed to pick one item from a limited list of five options, along with a very small cup of juice. For kids, the choices were even more restrictive, with only three options to choose from. This is pretty pathetic for something advertised as "free breakfast." We were so disappointed that we didn't even bother using the remaining four days of our "free breakfast" passes and opted to eat out instead. Another minor but frustrating point was the lack of complimentary water in the room upon arrival. We immediately had to go downstairs to fill or purchase water, which felt inconvenient after traveling. And of course, the $60 per day parking fee is another significant added cost that just doesn't feel worth it. Overall, I'm not sure I would choose this hotel again for my next visit unless some significant changes are made to the value proposition, particularly regarding the breakfa
