I’ve dtayed at a Mitsui Garden in Tokyo and Nagoya - both very similar in design. Nice spa.

Beautiful property with a very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Overall great stay.

Preferred hotel whenever visiting at Nagoya.

The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The daily buffet breakfast has lots of different choices including both western style and authentic Japanese food. The menu will change slightly everyday, so you can taste different kinds of food each day. The only complaint is that they did not have enough servers/busers to clean the tables. We have to wait for a long time to be seated. To make it worse, the seating system that they used is not efficient. You will get a card to be placed on the table. Once you have finished your breakfast, you need to bring the card back to the receptionist. However, there is not many people follow this procedure. People just simply left the card on the table. So others may think that the table is still occupied. I sincerely someone from the hotel would improve this when we visit next time.

Top notch facilities and services. We enjoyed all the amenities in our room and especially enjoyed the view from the Sky Lounge. The Marriott Associa’s connection with Nagoya train station provided easy access to transportation, a zillion excellent restaurants, and convenience stores. On one of the days of our trip when it rained, we did not need to go outdoors at all. Would definitely return.

The room that we stayed was newly renovated. With 4 single beds that had flexibility to be arranged, we loved the space. Just be aware that this room was not wheelchair friendly as there were 2 steps to the bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed the stay

Overall can only rate it OK and not sure if would want to stay at this hotel if I do visit Nagoya again. Distance: ok ‘quite’ near to malls and Nagoya station, however if to drag luggage from station to hotel vice versa there is a challenge with the distance. Avoid underground walkway as is up and down stairs. Cleanliness: I was surprised on the hotel eco efforts, sure no cleaning to be done on daily and they will replace towels, provide the tea and bottled water. Do note the replaced new towels are placed inside plastic bag so not sure how this help with their eco claims. The ‘new’ towels are not that clean have spotted hair on the towels in the plastic bag 3 times during my 5 nights stay. Amenities are the very basic ones. Room: central aircon and super super hot, basically like no air ventilation. I was given a corner room facing the road and I must say sound proof very bad super noisy from the road traffic. The saving grace will be the staff at the reception, very helpful team.
