Kita Ward6 nights3.0 star property7.8/10 - Good (41 reviews)"This was my favourite stay when visiting Japan. Quite quirky and probably was an ‘adult’ hotel at some stage but the rooms are very well appointed. I had a massage chair and spa in my room even though these weren’t mentioned. (Not to mention a slot machine and adult vending machine haha!) Amazing amenities including hair straightener and curler (in addition to the hair drier). It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included even though it wasn’t advertised. New Kankai Honkan Tenku Hotel Kairo
New Kankai Honkan Tenku Hotel Kairo"Excellent view. Good location. We are glad that we got picked up from the port before noon time. Food is good. Property lobby is very nice. However inside guest room, it has 1850 wall papers. Hallway carpet has huge stains and smells. Public bath is far away from the guest room. Public bath is humid and the ceiling has bathrooms type of mold."
"Let me start by saying if you’re looking for a high-end luxury resort this property is not it. The room was rather Spartan and the bathing facilities are shared and public (as in public to the hotel). That said the staff, even with their marginal language skills were amazingly accommodating, and the view from the top of the hill that this hotel sits on is unparalleled! It was a beautiful location in an amazing place that gave us tremendous opportunity to explore the entire area."
"Gorgeous view. Was able to catch the sunrise behind the mountain and angel Road which was beautiful. The room has all the basic necessities (towels, coffee makers, bowls, cups and utensils) and has black out curtains for comfortable sleep. The description said there is a washer but come to find out it’s a washer and dryer in one! So helpful when traveling with younger kids. You will need a rental car or book a site seeing cab. You can walk down the hill to the mega super market in about 15mins...
Millennium Olive Terrace for your wellness
"It was amazing, the rooms were fantastic we left a little something for the staff on property. That property was amazing. We loved it. The people in the area were super helpful and this island has olive wagyu, which i have never heard of before. The property, the island, the people all amazing, would definitely come back again. Another beautiful thing that i will miss in Japan."
