Great breakfast

Such a special little hotel! So welcoming and hospitable. Will definitely be back!!!

Comfy beds, great location 10 minute walk to train directly into Stockholm. Gym with a sauna. Breakfast was great but hectic. Dinner is only a buffet during summer with super limited options for a big price- better off eating at one of the restaurants down the street or in Stockholm. We were incredibly disappointed because our room was right above the kitchen with a super squeaky door so we could hear them going in and out early in the morning and late at night making sleep very difficult. When we told staff the first time nothing was done, second time they said they would stop using the door (they didn’t). The third time again nothing was done. Not once were we offered to move rooms nor offered even a small refund which to me is poor customer service. We won’t be back because of this.

Best hotel experience I’ve ever had- a designers dream! Everything from the small details in the rooms, the insanely comfortable beds, and extremely kind staff were top notch. A true delight!

Exceeded expectations by every metric. If you're trying to avoid staying close to Stockholm but want to see the city regardless, the train station nearby couldn't be more convenient. I have been underwhelmed by the home hotel product thus far, Welcome is way better.

Gym was small, but convenient

This is a wonderfully quirky place to stay. It’s great being on the water in a very quiet area with great views. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and my room was more than adequate to my needs. The bed was very comfortable and the en suite shower and loo were excellent. I loved being able to look out of my porthole close to the water level. There was also a very efficient fan in my room as it was reasonably hot whilst I was in Stockholm. The boat is about a 10/15 minute easy walk from the station and everything on Gamla Stan is within easy reach, including great restaurants and the 80 & 82 ferries from Slussen. There’s also a tube station very close by. The food on board is of a very high quality with a 10% reduction for guests. Sadly, it was limited for someone like me with a dairy intolerance but the tomato salad and steak were both excellent. The breakfast buffet is first rate.

Nordic light hotel is an excellent choice while in Copenhagen. Great location, amazing breakfast, super friendly staff. We will be back
