So convenient, clean, comfortable and generally excellent value for money. Have stayed there previously, and had the same excellent experience. Highly recommend.

The Howey is perfect for an inner city stay! The rooms are immaculate, staff are friendly and the parking nearby is really handy.

Great location.The size of the room was good size for my daughter and I. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is trying to access the laundry room. There is only two washing machines and driers. Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse and other food stores are located on the ground floor. Across the road are more shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Fridge can be a little bit noisy at night, but apart from that everything was good.

While this is a beautiful old hotel, it does come with some issues. The HVAC in our room did not work. We asked 3 times to get fixed. Luckily the windows can open but the street noise was very loud. The shower was nice but water splashed everywhere due to the small glass door and very slippery. Dated but full of charm. Not a 5 star but perhaps a 4.

Beautiful and clean rooms, peaceful grounds ans wonderful breakfast

After a long flight landing in the morning the staff was very good to check me into my room. No fuss very great full, needed the rest. I wanted to check out late at 7 pm. They requested a full price of 1 night. This was a bit steep. Was quite happy to pay 50 to 60 AUD , but no worries.

Very clean, decent size room central to the city. If you're sensitive to noise, there's a lot of street noise, the soundproofing in the room isn't great, and there were weird noises in the room that I wasn't sure was the AC or plumbing. There would be random smells of either smoke or sewage sometimes. The view wasn't great because I was on the first floor. The stay itself wasn't bad just not amazing.

We (family of 4 with two young daughters) loved our stay at 1 Hotel Melbourne. It is a lovely new hotel with very modern rooms and facilities; lots of timber, earthy tones and beautiful feature plants. The immaculate indoor pool, sauna and steam room were very much appreciated on the cooler rainy days. The reception and concierge staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We could not fault our stay at Hotel 1 and will stay there again when we next visit Melbourne.

Nothing not to dislike, first class all the way. My husband and I loved our room, 41st floor beautiful views looking down part city & Cathedral views. Awesome night views & great sunrises 🌅 👍 Friendly staff & very helpful
