The resort is beautiful with a lot of activities for everyone, however, I was disappointed with the specialty restaurants. The food was just okay. Not impressed with the drinks either. The food at the buffets was very good.

This resort is extremely clean and the room has everything you need. The food was the best resort food I’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly, professional and helpful. The resort was well maintained and I would definitely come back. The only downside was all the seaweed on the beach. However, the staff tried to clean it up the best they could and it is out of their control. I had a wonderful stay.

Rooms and property were very clean. Pool was also clean. Food options were good at the main buffet. Steakhouse and Italian were also very good. Staff went above and beyond. Juan at the pool area was very attentive and helpful. Manuel at the Dorado breakfast was also very friendly and attentive to our needs. Ricardo at the Hideaway Lounge was extremely friendly and helpful and attentive to our needs! So many others and I regret not remembering names! Only 1 staff member was weird (Santos) He was the bar man at the Dorado restaurant. For some reason refused to serve us! We were the only ones there. Asked for our drinks and he continued doing his own thing and ignored us. We walked away in the end. I was so confused. Complained to Juan at the pool area who tried to make things better but we still don’t know why this Santos guy would not serve us. He just looked very angry! We tip well and were very friendly. We still recommend the resort and would go back despite Santos!

I'd rate our stay 3 out of 5 stars. The resort has many positives, including clean and spacious rooms, excellent housekeeping, good Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and very good food and service at the specialty restaurants. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. However, there were several issues that affected our experience. The buffet had a strong sewer smell at the entrance, and there were frequent food labeling and cross-contamination issues. Pork, beef, chicken, fish, and vegetarian items were often mixed together or cooked on the same grill, making it difficult for guests with dietary restrictions or religious requirements to eat with confidence. Better labeling and food separation are needed. Our room was comfortable, but it was a connecting room with poor soundproofing. We could clearly hear the neighboring room, and on our last night the noise kept us awake. There was also a sewer smell coming from the shower drain. The resort's app also needs improvement. It was difficult to make restaurant reservations, and some activities listed in the app were outdated. Finally, we found the evening entertainment to be less engaging than expected. Overall, we enjoyed parts of our stay, but these issues had a significant impact on our experience. Addressing them would greatly improve the experience for future guests.
