Haarlemmerliede en Spaarnwoude All inclusive Vacations

The restaurant had very loud repairs taking place at dinnertime on a Friday evening. Repairs should have been scheduled during the day. This hopefully won't be an issue in the near future.

Fantastic hotel and near to Metro.

Front desk staff greeted us with a smile and was polite. We were upgraded to a family room which was a pleasant surprise. Room looked and smelled clean. We had a view of the canal from our balcony. The bed was comfortable. We had a good night’s rest before our flight home the next day. The hotel’s is just 5-7 minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal. We had ample time to go to Albert Cuyp Markt to buy food and some souvenirs before our 12 NN check-out. We asked the front desk staff upon returning if we could check-out at 12:30 PM, and with a smile, she said yes! We will absolutely recommend NH Collection Barbizon Palace to friends and family who will be visiting Amsterdam!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay. We visited in early September, and there was no air conditioning, which made the room very hot and uncomfortable. There was also no elevator, and the stairs were extremely steep, narrow, and high. You need to be physically fit to climb them, and the stairs and room were not clean. The location was also farther than expected—about a 25-minute walk to the terminal. Overall, because of the heat, difficult stairs, cleanliness, and location, we would not recommend this property.

Great location, short walk to Van Gogh/Rijksmuseum/transportation stops(bus/tram); Helpful staff; great breakfast ( extra price but reasonable); its an older hotel, some wear, but clean and inviting. Would stay again!
