Nearby restaurants and easy to get around. However front desk staff is not helpful at all. They don’t even look at you when checking out, just took your room cards and continued with their laptop without even telling you that your check out is completed. Very rude.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The staff were very nice and helpful, the room was spacious, clean, and homely, and the hotel location was just a short distance a way from the subway station—prime location! I love that the eMart was just 1 floor below the lobby, there were 3 cafes connected to the hotel, and the breakfast buffet style was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!

It was a first class experience. True 5 star. The only suggestion would be to update the rooms.

Great breakfast buffet, closes hotel and walkable to the entry of the park, wonderful views with rooftop lounge. The hotel is very outdated though with a musky smell. I don't believe any of the furnishing have ever been updated. But we still enjoyed the hotel and would stay there again.

Clean building. Clean room and great views. Staffs werd helpful. You will hear some noose from the next room. But it is expected in all resort.

Good view (for Namsan mountain & city) and clean facility... but one tower building (for hotel) with other separate club (for mainly other membership of swimming, fitness, golf range). Not so much choice of restaurant inside. Breakfast is also OK. One particular of this Banyan Tree Seoul is one "bath pool" inside of room (with separate small steam sauna). This is the main reason I made choice this time. Actually it is good experience. Main issue for this hotel is the price. Too expensive to accept its very simple facility. Price is similar like Four Season but facility is not. I feel like only rich young guys are using this hotel. I know Banyan Tree in many world resorts which is perfect... but this Seoul branch can't compete... so this hotel needs to lower down its room charge.

J’ai passé seulement une nuit au Grand Hyatt et je suis arrivée tard en soirée. Ainsi il est plus difficile d’avoir une opinion objective étant donné que n’ai fait que dormir sans utiliser les différents services. Par contre, le meilleur point en leur faveur est leur situation géographique près de tout à Séoul. Si je revenais à Séoul, je choisirais cet hôtel pour mieux l’apprécier.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. The staffs are friendly, the room was clean. However, the inside of rooms needed major updates. Also, the hotel charges separate fees for using gym and spa.

The hotel room was very clean. There is a refrigerator stocked with two bottles of water. Although the room isn’t very big there is plenty of room for what you need when visiting Seoul and spend most of your time out doors. The bathroom and shower are combined which was a bit odd at first but perfectly functional. The hotel is in a good location for visiting the local sites and very close to a subway station. One stop from Seoul Station. It was a bit hard to find at first but once you know where you’re going it’s easy. Also a few convenience stores are near by. The lady on reception when I arrived was very friendly and helpful. Coffee machine and small dining area on the first floor if you bring your own food.
