Location and clean room

Good location close to a couple great restaurants. A/c works well. Staff tries but doesn’t always get job done. Water in shower wouldn’t drain and told them about it and was not fixed. Was not able to take a shower after touring and before checking out the next day. Also had the shower door come off and on me when showering. Wasn’t hurt but not what is expected from a “4 star” property.

Unfortunately, the room we received was nothing like what was advertised or what we had booked. It was located in a separate building at the back of the hotel, through the garden, and the room itself was noticeably smaller than the dimensions represented in the listing. There was also no bathtub, despite this being part of what we expected from the room booked. To make matters worse, on the first night we were actually given a different, lower-category room, while we were still going to be charged for the room we had booked. Thankfully, I noticed the discrepancy and raised it with the manager, who did refund the price difference for that first night. However, even after we were moved, the replacement room still did not match the room we had reserved. It remained smaller than advertised and was in the separate garden building. We were travelling with a toddler and had to climb stairs every time we went to and from our room, which made the arrangement particularly inconvenient. While I appreciate that the manager corrected the price difference for the first night, we were never compensated for ultimately not receiving the room we actually booked for the remainder of our stay. For the price we paid and the expectations created by the listing, this was extremely disappointing.

Bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned
