Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. It’s beautiful inside and the bed was very comfortable. The towels however were very small and not what I’d expect from a 5 star hotel, and I’d have also expected water in the room rather than having to ask for it. Would have been much nicer to have a coffee machine rather than small instant coffee sachets. A couple of these small changes would make it more of a 5 star experience. I also didn’t receive the free wine as per my Expedia benefit, and wasn’t offered an upgraded room.

Friendliest staff ever, lovely and quiet in October, immaculately clean, great breakfast, complimentary bottle of fizz with our Expedia booking and less than 10 minutes walk to Fira. We booked a Caldera view … didn’t realise that also overlooked the road so if we stay again I’ll book a non-Caldera view. No hesitation in recommending this hotel. Thanks for a great holiday.

I normally don’t do reviews but this was a great experience hence giving it. They gave a free upgrade to summer suite which provided a great view to the sunset. The staff was excellent, breakfast was included and was decent (however they do require notifications of breakfast items in advance). The only issue (which we didn’t face but can foresee) is hotel location - it is not accessibility friendly, so it is likely very hard for people in wheelchairs, older folks with joint issues etc.
