I do not recommend staying here at all. Our experience was absolutely terrible, and the biggest concern was the roaches crawling all over the food and dining areas. It was extremely unsanitary, and after seeing that, I refused to eat. To make matters worse, my friend asked for a glass with ice, and underneath the ice there was black debris and a piece of straw at the bottom of the glass. That was completely unacceptable and raised even more concerns about cleanliness. I also booked a massage shortly after we arrived, and unfortunately, that experience was just as disappointing. The towels used during my massage were stinky, oily, and dirty, and it honestly did not seem like they had been changed. The massage therapist was also discreetly on her phone throughout much of the massage. She would take long pauses, and when I was lying face up, I could see around the towel placed over my eyes and actually saw her using her phone. We had originally booked a 5-night stay, but we left on the second day because we simply could not stay there any longer. Unfortunately, we lost money because we were not refunded for the remaining nights. We were traveling with friends, and everyone in our group had the same terrible experience. At the last minute, we had to book rooms at the Radisson Blu, which was a completely unexpected and unplanned expense. Had I known our experience at Beachcomber would be anything like this, I never would have stayed there in the first place. Don’t get mislead

The property was wonderful. The rooms are large, well appointed, comfortable, and beautiful. We enjoyed the plunge pool, outdoor lounging area, beachside room, outdoor shower, tasty coffee in the room, rain shower, complementary beauty items, nightly turn down service with chocolates and stories to read, and so much more. The staff goes above and beyond to greet you and memorize your name. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs throughout the day. We did not get a chance to check out the spa. I did put in a last minute request but they didn’t get back to me till after we’d left. However, to their credit, since it was raining lots of people booked the spa.

The property and staff show signs of age and rot. It would take too much effort to list every disappointment, but I would like to highlight Sam, at the front desk, as truly inept. I had to switch rooms at one point (not the hotel's fault) and when I asked Sam when we could move the luggage, he had no clue, no interest in finding out, and no interest in our interest. The next day when we were checking out, I asked for a noon checkout instead of 10am as it was rainy and our ferry was not until mid-afternoon. Sam said he couldn't because the the room was going to be taken by another guest, but the reality was, that they did not try to accommodate us. The bags were not taken from our room until after noon.

The only negative for me Was that I didn’t realised that it’s a resort for kids. Beautiful but a lot of young kids
