The hotel was clean, well maintained and the room was comfortable; the bed was large, comfortable, and with good pillows. The bathroom was an excellent size and very good quality fixtures and fittings. We were pleased to have a coffee machine, fridge, safe and large wardrobe with plenty of coat hangers, as well as coat hooks, shelves and shoe storage. There were no available electric points at the bedside, with the only 2 in the room being in the corner behind the desk or near the floor beside the mirror - a little inconvenient, but not a huge problem. We were very disappointed to find the beautiful bar and terrace area which are shown in many photos we're not open while we were there at the times advertised. This was a shame as it had been a big appeal to us when booking the hotel. We did go to the restaurant which served breakfast one evening as it was the only 'bar' area open - and we were horrified to find a single shot of vodka was €12 with a sprite mixer an extra €5. I'm not sure we have ever been charged €17 (or equivalent) for a single spirit drink anywhere we have travelled! Outrageous prices. Overall though we enjoyed our stay at Le Châtelain ad the room and hotel areas were lovely, and a good location close to transport links with tram and bus stops close by.

I had a truly excellent stay at Juliana — the overall level of comfort, attention to detail and service is exactly what you would expect from a refined luxury property. The room, spa and overall atmosphere were outstanding, and the breakfast in particular deserves a special mention — one of the best I’ve experienced, with fresh, high-quality products and great execution. I would also like to highlight the concierge team, who were consistently kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming — a great asset to the hotel and a pleasure to interact with throughout my stay. If I may share one small observation, I believe the cocktail bar experience has the potential to be elevated to fully match the level of the rest of the hotel. With a slightly more structured approach, it could become a real highlight. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would absolutely return.

Nice and clean hotel. Rooms were really nice and had nice coffee making facilities. The food on site was okay but the breakfast was very expensive at €22.50 per day. There did not appear to be any recreational facilities, i.e. no pool or gym, but I may have missed these so it may be worth checking before you book. If you are travelling for business there are very good meeting facilities with provision for coffees and pastries within the meeting room, there is also a restaurant on site for lunch and evening meals. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.

It is a decent hotel. Curently it is under renovation. For travelers with baby/stroller, there are roughly 6-7 stairs you need to take care, other than that, It was OK.

The property was in a great location with high end shops around. There was also a metro near by making it easy to get to the city center. The staff was very professional and friendly. Overall we had a great experience.

The room was of a good size, and the location of the hotel offers great access to public transport. Breakfast was good and varied and the 9th floor terrace has great views. There were a couple of less positive aspects, though. We were visiting during a heatwave, and at times the A/C in the room was barely keeping up. Also, out of 3 elevators, only one was working reliably (one has been broken during the entire stay, and another one was on and off) - for such a large hotel with 9 floors, it created unacceptable waiting times. But overall, we had a good stay; it was nice to be walking distance from most things we wanted to do.
