Loved everything about the property. So beautiful!

Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

All rooms were clean when I checked in. The staff was very helpful since it was my first time to stay in a residential area in China, and had a lot of questions, ie how to open the door, how to use the washing machine, etc. The staff answered my questions within a minute.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. The buffet offered both Chinese and Western-style dishes, all fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I would also like to give special recognition to Molly Chen, who provided outstanding service throughout my stay. She is warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Her hospitality made me feel truly welcome and at home. Molly's professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond my expectations and made my experience even more memorable.

Property said there were three beds in the one room, but there was two beds in one room and then a separate bed in the room next door. The facilities were clean, modern and had great air conditioning. The location is a little out of the old city or shopping district or Bund, but we took a taxi to all very cheaply. There is also public transportation nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Dayin. From the second we walked in, we were happily greeted by Wei and Wu at reception - they were really kind and made sure we were well looked after from the moment we arrived. The friendly cleaning staff do a great job. Our room was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and facilities were good. The lounge area of this hostel is nice too. Location was perfect and close to sights and public transport. I would stay here again without hesitation! Highly recommend!
