The location was convenient for visiting Kansas City Stadium, and it was also easy to get to the hotel from the airport thanks to the free shuttle bus that stops nearby.
As you would expect from a Marriott, the hotel was nice overall. Although I didn't dine there, the restaurant looked inviting, and having a Starbucks in the lobby was a nice touch. It was a comfortable place to relax.
My biggest disappointment was that I was given a different room type from the one I had booked. There was no explanation or apology from the front desk, which left me with a poor impression of the service.
Overall, the hotel itself was good, but because of the room issue and the way it was handled, I don't think I would choose to stay here again.

"How to get to the room? We had to walk through a hallway that seemed to be a previously smoke smoking area. It wreaked of 20-year-old cigarette smoke. The room was poorly lit and one of the lamps didn't have the proper handles to be turned on. Once illuminated via another lamp, the floor was dirty. ..."

"Apparenly furniture isnt moved to vacuum. Moved recliner and found a hat from a previous occupant. Also found dirty comb on the batheroom floor as we were making sure we didnt miss anything in our packing. YUCK."
