"Love the stay at Candlewood Suites Manhattan. Staff was friendly. Great location. Quiet room. I loved no daily room service, felt more private. Magnets for communication on door were a fun touch!"
"I don't really call this hotel, there were only three rooms. Other than wifi, it did not offer much. There was a small frig., a floor heater, and a coffee maker (no cups were furnished). No onsite staff. No food offerings so you need to know that you have to bring your own; however there was no microwave to warm any food up."

Really like how clean and planned out the shopping and dining areas of the city are. It is clear that city planners have worked smartly to make Manhattan upscale and modern, even close to old city center, whichwas very smart to keep downtown up.

So the bowling at the Student Union is open to everyone and on the weekend nights it appears that the parking garage is free of charge. It was so much fun bowling. Plus it was pretty inexpensive to do so.

Smaller town than expected for College town but has had a lot of growth and does have nice food options, all the chains, and even accessible shopping mall.

Nice Christmas decorations, smooth streets.. Not too crowded for the holiday traffic.
"And that's a good thing! The fact that they had a laundry bag, an actual closet with hangers, a safe, a fridge, a hairdryer, hair and body products available, AND curtains that close completely and were not just for decoration were incredible. It really felt like a timecapsule of a hotel from the mid-2000s or before were a hotel looked, felt, and operated like your temporary home. And the sheets weren't the polyester nightmare that so many other hotels insist on! I was able to temperature regulate instead of slowly steaming my skin all night. Fantastic staff, fantastic stay, highly, highly recommend!"
