Dutch Heritage Sites Ski Vacations

The room we had was a huge two bedroom, two bath that had a full kitchen. It was great as our son as his own room. The negative was that it was very warm even though they provided two floor fans which helped but we found out not many hotels have air conditioning. They also only do housekeeping once a week but we did say something and they came after our 4th night there, Another negative was that the people that stayed above us must have had a couple kids that ran around like it was a park and they were up at all hours of the night.

Pro's: :This hotel is in a nice area & about a 10min walk from a tram stop, shops & restaurants. :Buffet breakfast was lovely, varied choices & fresh. :Stayed in an "Executive" room which had a walk-in shower. Minibar drinks are "included" in the room rate & are replaced every day. Con's: :Apon arrival (approx 9pm) we were "directed" to check-in on a machine. No personal touch, no "welcome to the Bilderberg" etc. :We only realised that the restaurant was closed during our stay due to a sign in the lift (would of been nice if a person told us that, so they could direct us to other establishments in the area). :The "included" minibar drinks only gave you a choice of 4 soft drinks (bottle of still & spring water, bottle of Pepsi sugar free & normal). The drinks were all glass bottles, with metal caps so you need a bottle opener but one was not provided. We were told the hotel does not put them in the room as guests may "steal them". :When asked if we could have change the spring water to a 2nd bottle of still was told no. Against hotel policy. :Breakfast - the downside they had 1 person working/cooking in the kitchen - which meant that it could be awhile for items to be replaced. This hotel classes itself as "luxury" but it's the personal touch that makes the difference & it was sadly lacking. Not having the flexibility to change a bottle of water is an example. The area outside our windows was unkempt & strewn with weeds. Not 5* or luxury.

Great hotel, spotlessly clean, staff were accommodating, river to the front and easy to walk in to the city centre. Good restaurants and bars close by and coffee machines, kettle, iron, hairdryer etc provided. Will stay here again next time I’m in town.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was quick and seamless, making us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The hotel’s facilities were excellent, and every area was clean and well cared for. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area while still enjoying a peaceful and comfortable place to return to each day. What truly made this hotel stand out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service, comfort, and value. We will definitely be returning on our next visit!

Perfect hotel, nice little touches everywhere. Location was fab. The only downside was the parking and finding the location. This needed to be communicated prior to our arrival. We drive around for nearly an hour trying to find the access point by car.
