Very convenient for Airport as Tram 2 stops, and hotel stop just 100 meters walk. Easy check-in, Pool was handy as 34C when we stayed. Lifts good, Aircon worked (just)but controls a bit weird. Kitchenet was handy with pod coffee machine, fridge, microwave and hob, plus all the crockery you will need. A nice big room and bed, with blackout curtains. All in all, a very pleasant 5 nights, especially after hot days walking in the city and amazing waterfront. Though you need your wits, with some narrow pavements and poorly marked bike lanes. My wife lost a pair of prescription designer sunglasses, we thought in the city after a boozy (Margeaux for 40 Euro!) dinner in one of the wonderful alfresco squares (doom and gloom) The room cleaner found them, they sent email and posted them to us at cost postage fee DHL. So pleased as £££! to replace. Tram,(line A) buy a week one, bargain at 29 euro unlimited hop on off trips. We usually hire a car(saved £300 and hassle), but thought as Bordeaux is a cars not wanted city, let's give it a go. We really enjoyed it, though 40 mins into city and many stops, it was never that busy and no trouble and a nice change from driving, traveling with the locals and seeing the city go by.. Tram 2 Stops from hotel to a giant Carrefour and shopping Centre, a must visit, its vast, and amazing wine selection.

The location does not offer a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, but if you have a car it’s fine. Having a little kitchen was a nice convenience. Staff was nice and polire

We booked a suite with the dog. The room was great and the staff helpful, the air conditioning and ventilation in the room however was terrible. They turned off the air con but said the ventilation system could not be altered it blew freezing cold air in the room above the bed all night. They staff tried to help but said they couldn’t do more. It meant we didn’t sleep at all, which was a shame as the hotel was overall good.

We arrived around 12:30 from New York via Paris . Rather making us wait for the standard 4 pm check-in, the staff worked to get us into our room early so we could take a nap and later walk throughout Bordeaux without being exhausted.

Spent a night at Villas Foch in Bordeaux and would happily stay again. The staff were helpful and courteous from check-in on. Our room was spotless, modern, and spacious, and it was very quiet, which made for a great night's sleep. The location is hard to beat, with downtown an easy trip away. The lobby and bar were also nice spots to relax. Highly recommend.

Clean hotel convenient for local transport and the railway station. Breakfast was adequate though despite being advertised as 06.30 - 10am on weekdays, when we arrived just before 7am on the morning of our departure, the area was cordoned off, staff were still filling the tea/coffee making machine with water and some of the bakery items hadn't arrived. The more senior member of staff offered to make us coffee in the kitchen whilst the other staff member seemed more intent on tidying her hair...... Reception staff who dealt with us on arrival were inefficient, surly and rude. No welcome; no offer to help with luggage; no apologies for mix up over room booking; no apology for presenting us with key cards that didn't allow us to use the lifts and had to be reprogrammed twice during our stay. If you're expecting helpful, friendly, professional staff who treat customers with courtesy and respect - at what advertises itself as a 4* hotel - suggest you go elsewhere. Four days after our departure, and despite an email direct to the hotel pursuing our complaint, we are still awaiting acknowledgement of our email and the recompense we were promised 5 days ago.
