Notre-Dame Island Romantic Vacations

Great location close to all the coolest areas of downtown Montreal. Nice contemporary design in the rooms and common areas, all kept very clean. The free all-day snacks and coffee in the lobby is a great touch, and the consistently warm and friendly reception by guest services manager Terry really makes you feel at home. The only drawbacks are that the build quality of some of the room furnishings, gym and "spa" equipment is sub-par, and the paid parking lot in the public housing complex across the street is a bit sketchy. Otherwise, though, this boutique hotel offers tremendous value for the money and the service is outstanding. Would definitely recommend a stay... just skip the gym and don't leave any valuables in your car.

The location of the hotel is incredible - right at the base of Rue Saint Paul. You’re 1 block away from Old Port proper. This is a hotel-lite though. Apartments converted into rooms. Also, the rooms are nice enough but pretty beat up, and there isn’t enough towels and amenities offered for what you’d expect from a hotel category choice. Staff working there are super nice though and they are very helpful.

This not really a hotel in that there is no desk clerk at reception. They send you door codes before your arrival. That wasn’t clear in the description. Also no parking on site which also wasn’t in the description. Good location.
