Swan Valley Pet-friendly Vacations

I know the desired "vibe" is that of a cozy, quaint accommodation, but I would rather have less cozy and more comfort and convenience. There's no mini fridge, and our room had only one chair. There was only a bar along the wall to hang clothes. The bathroom was quite large. I'd rather have less bathroom and more room. An upgrade was suggested at check-in for a room with a balcony, but as I saw from the outside, the balconies were tiny and IMO not worth the extra $. I have stayed in many hotels and motels, and I have never been charged for a continental breakfast. For $20+, the charge seemed way out of line - especially for such a limited selection. Having said all that, I really liked the sitting/lounge area. The access to a variety of complimentary beverages was much appreciated. The staff were very pleasant, and the location is very convenient for transportation and eats. It's a short walk to the CBD. As much as it seems I have complained, we did enjoy our stay. Still though, it wouldn't take much to make it an exceptional hotel. Make the rooms more accommodating - add a chair. Add a minifridge. Put in an armoire. Provide a complimentary continental breakfast. Really... those are little things that would make a big difference.

Great place to stay.

The hotel is in a good location. Pool area was great. Room was clean and had good amenities. It stated sound proof and block out curtains, however this wasn’t the case for us. The light came in through the door frame and windows as so we were up earlier than I would’ve liked to be on holiday. Also was a bit noisy, but might have just been due to the position of our room as we were near the pool. Overall was a nice stay.

Room is tired; bathroom is odd with the sinks in the main room; service at the rooftop patio was poor; location in a bit of a rough neighbourhood. Definitely nowhere near a 5 star hotel.

Accommodation was 1 bed cabin and was perfect area was queit and clen no vomplaints here thanks for a lovely stay cheers

Room was clean and tidy. We were on ground floor - would definitely request not to stay on ground floor, every 5-10 minutes you could hear water coming down the pipes for at least 10 seconds. Was only there for one night, would have requested to move if staying any longer.
