Great service

Under no circumstances stay at this property. It is expensive and definitely not worth the money. As a result of a cancelled river cruise we had to bring our booking forward, this too was expensive to do. Securing flights home was difficult so when we arrived at the Radisson I had the female receptionist, I have been latter told she is a supervisor, book us in for an extra night. She confirmed this was done and that we could stay in the same room. When we returned to the Hotel at 4pm today our key did not work. When I enquired with the two receptionists on duty I was informed that we did not have a booking. Moreover the Hotel is full.We were told that we could go to the other Radisson Blue next door"….I don’t think so. We found other accommodation, packed our bags and were off in the night. Just some other things to consider about this property. There is no obvious ramp so we had to lug our suitcases up six steep and shallow stairs and then another three similar stairs. It is like a rabbit warren getting from reception to, in our case, the red building. Using the access key before you get to the lift is an art form. Passage to our room was just grotty. We had a junior suite which was just OK but not worth the money paid. You need to keep moving in the shower in order to get wet as the water pressure is abysmal, so don’t use too many suds cause you will not get them off. Breakfast was very sub standard. Where’s Radisson Blue has a reputation as excellent breakfast

Lovely clean, smart hotel near the shopping area of Bucharest. We arrived early off the sleeper train and were able to get into our room early. The breakfast was of high quality with lots of options.

The studio was clean, well located and generally comfortable, and communication with the property was mostly fine. However, I was disappointed that a washing machine was listed among the facilities but was not available in the apartment. I checked in on Sunday and only found out on Thursday, after asking where it was, that it had been removed because of a problem. I was told it would be resolved that day, but this should have been communicated at check-in rather than only after I asked. For a stay of several nights, this can be an important facility. Also, after I informed the property that I would be leaving early, housekeeping arrived before I had confirmed that I had actually checked out. It would be better to confirm the guest’s departure time first. Overall, the property is good in terms of cleanliness and location, but the listing should accurately reflect the available facilities and the check-out communication could be improved.

Great staff good hotel nice

My friend and I stayed for three nights in a twin room. The AC worked, there was a large bathroom, the desk staff were helpful, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The showerhead shot to the back of the tub and got water on the floor, so that needs a little tune-up. The location was okay, but not quite as central as we might have liked. Overall, it was an adequate stay in a budget-friendly hotel.
