AC was set up to be hot. And we couldn’t get it to work on a lower temperature 🤒. So we had to open the balcony so cool air could get in.
Also the water in the shower would be hot one second cold the next 😭.

Stayed at the Colombia Hotel for Venice Carnivale and the location was just perfect. Within minutes of San Marco along a straightforward path and to the key spots for photographing masks. The hotel arranged a private water taxi which was convenient though a bit steep (a nearby hotel was 10EU cheaper which helps). Breakfast staff were always attentive and pleasant. Breakfast options were varied with plenty of fruit. Room was spacious as was the bathroom. Well worth a consideration and a return visit.

it was a very cute hotel with a delicious breakfast included cute sitting area perfect location. The room was a bit small and it was definitely old school old world look nothing modern but beautiful.

The place was fairly easy to find and very close to the Rialto Bridge, so just a 5 minute walk from the waterbus stop. It is down a couple of little alleyways but it seemed quite safe even at night.
