The place was spacious as we had the two bedrooms. The apartment had natural cooling, which was ok as it wasn’t as hot while we were there and cooled pretty good with the windows opened. The kitchen was okay stocked, but didn’t have a few essentials like oven mitts and dish towel or cloth. Place was equipped with soaps and a few pods for dishwasher and one for washing machine. It does take some time to dry, but we hung some clothes up and they dried overnight. We were able to access key cards into building and room okay. It did take some time to hear back on the luggage room code, the messenging system seems automated, but we finally got through. There was bad reception in the basement as well. Overall a good stay. Location was close to grocery store and a relatively short 10 minutes walk from the train station. Some music at night, but wasn’t bad on weekdays. Sundays are quiet. The view was nice and so is the roof top patio.

The view overlooking Oslo is breathtaking. The hotel rooms are NOT made for couples. The rooms are ridiculously small. The toilets were so uncomfortable because the sink was literally in your lap. Lifting suitcases up and down three flights of stairs was not fun, since there isn’t an elevator on the property.

Good Italian restaurant downstairs where you can get discount. Lovely clean room, with comfy beds and great amenities. Very quiet and close to a bus stop. Our only minor issue was a constantly dripping tap (room 6006) - this should get fixed as it is wasting water :)

Amazing location. Helpful staff. Excellent lobby bar with tasty drinks. Very beautiful clean rooms.

Absolutely top-notch service. Reception desk staff was extremely helpful with pointers about Oslo and areas near Oslo. We enjoyed our breakfasts everyday, because of the food and — again — superb service. Very clean and cozy rooms. I’d be happy to go back to this hotel.

The Thief Hotel was extremely well located and its staff excellent and very helpful. Our luggage was lost and hotel staff was aggressive in getting them returned before our cruise left. The breakfast is very good and the roof top bar pleasant in good weather. The hotel restaurant has a limited menu but there are many good restaurants within a short walk. Our room was clean and well laid out but the “balcony “ is not worth the extra cost. Serif our room was excellent. We would recommend The Thief in Oslo.
