Ideal 1920s stylish, seductive vibes. Feminine, vintage, quiet luxury. The lobby smelled amazing and Sade set the mood. Breakfast in the cafe was included, offering drip coffee (yet we opted to purchase a classic espresso & latte) as well as many food options including a simple breakfast muffin, pain au chocolat, and lovely overnight chia oats, to name a few. Memorable mini martini oyster pairing at the beautiful Tusk bar. Engaging, attentive, and friendly staff. Thoughtfully designed room & bathroom with Malin+Goetz products. Frette sheets & comfy bed. Welcoming bottle of wine, robes, slippers, and umbrella added to the homey feel. Good location. Around the corner from must-have Sunday Morning NYC’s cinnamon rolls. Clean & spacious for NoMad location. Warm, inviting, chill lobby scene. Water bottles upon arrival. Would have been nice to know the Brass restaurant & piano atrium were closed for a wedding, but everything was so lovely that I only saw it as a reason to go back. Will recommend and return. Admittedly daydreaming about going back since checkout (at noon, which is later than most). Hubby popped in to surprise us, and decided to stay a night, so our daughter moved to the velvet sleeper sofa in the separate sitting room (with additional tv). Cool Bluetooth Marshall speaker was a nice touch, allowing her to vibe out to more Sade. I need one now. 10/10.
