Booked for a 1 night staycation, but my boyfriend and I were sad to leave. The bungalow exceeded our expectation. Upon arrival, the staff checked on us to ensure that we had everything we needed. It was such a good experience. We will be back!

Disliked: Staff & service
We had a great time! The location is right next to Amalfi which was an awesome atmosphere. Just note parking is difficult during the weekends due to the restaurant. There is no onsite staff or front desk but we were able to find our bungalow easily. The bungalows are definitely small so keep that in mind. The walls are very thin as well. We could hear the neighbors. However, I would stay here again.
I loved the bungalow. We stayed in bungalow 4. Very clean, chic and comfortable. It is small. Not a good space to hang out. Just enough accommodations for sleep and shower.
The lawn is shared with the restaurant next door (separate owner). Sitting out on the deck feels like spying in the neighbors back yard.
Parking was challenging. The parking lot is shared with the restaurant.
Still it was nice to sit by the water. Hampton Bay is beautiful.
WEB checking and keyless access is great, very convenient.
But AC in the room did not work properly, and there was nobody around to check / address the issue. team was very responsive via text messages, but that did not fix the AC.
"Free parking" is great option, but it is shared with busy restaurant, and getting a spot was not very easy.
A quiet place to get some R&R. the bungalows are more like storage units with thin walls, but there wasn’t an issue since it was quiet when I was there.
Next to a restaurant that hosts events, loud music until 12am! No parking during an event, at one point we couldn’t go to the room because there was no parking available. Also booked for a king suite ended up in a tiny room with a tiny bed. Very disappointed!
The cottage was nice unfortunately he was next to a restaurant/catering facility that was hosting a wedding. The music was very loud and we were about 200 feet away from the guest and DJs kept us up past 11 o’clock. We are exhausted from a long day and although it was a happy occasion for others- we didn’t appreciate the loud music. We would’ve enjoyed walking around the facility and admiring the water, but there were wedding guests everywhere. That was definitely a negative.
The room is VERY small and hardly accommodates 2 people. Everything was very new but also poorly done. The coat rack was falling off the wall and the bathroom mirror was placed so high I couldn’t see myself. The air conditioning was non-existent which made it very hot in the room, especially at night. The bungalows share a parking lot and real estate space with a very large restaurant which made parking and using the outdoor amenities difficult in the evening. There is no “walkway to the beach”, though the inn is right at the ends of the parkway to the beaches. Overall I would not recommend wasting your money staying here.
Honestly I never complain about these things but this was not a good experience and Im requesting some kind of reimbursement for our stay. First off, the walls were extremely cheap and paper thin. as soon as the people in the unit next to us checked in we could hear EVERYTHING on the other side of the wall. No exaggeration. every sneeze, cough and movement we could hear clear as day and it was extremely frustrating feeling like there was absolutely no sense of quiet, peace or privacy given they could probably hear all of our conversations too. On top of that, there was either a plumbing issue or just bad plumbing in general. The sink filled up completely within less than a minute when we were washing our face despite the drain being unplugged. It took a long time to drain and that is not normal for a sink to not drain itself and practically overflow after running the water for less than a minute with the drain unplugged. The toilet made this loud gurgling noise several times throughout the night and also had extremely poor strength when flushing it. Not a great experience having to wake up several times in the night to that loud gurgling noise and the sound of other people next door. They werent even loud, the walls were just that thin. When people book a hotel the last thing they want to deal with is lack of privacy, peace and plumbing issues that cause disturbance to their sleep. Id like some level of reimbursement if not full
