Lovely large room with separate bedroom. Air con throughout although bedroom air con unit noisy and not always responsive. Basic items for eating food and microwave to heat things up. Great views out over the water watching the boats and ships coming and going. Laundry on site was a bonus. Very convenient for all the downtown activities.

Comfortable,clean,handy to beach and a few cafes.

Sometimes you just want to splurge a little on accommodation, so I went with a bit more upscale with Pullman Cairns International and selected a room with balcony and view of the bay. Room was clean and spacious, with a bathroom that had a bathtub and shower. A nice firm bed and plenty of flat surfaces to put your things. And with refrigerator too. Thank you to Larissa at the front desk for assigning me a great room that is quiet and comfortable that I didn't feel like going out (almost). Breakfast is buffet style and was $35AUD if you book it the day before, but it had many options. And well worth it if you want the convenience. Location is close to the pier (for Great Barrier Reef cruises, etc.), and within walking distance (10-20 minutes) to the night market, farmer's market and train station. Not to mention restaurants and stores nearby. Definitely worth a look for luxury and convenience.

Modern hotel, well presented with easy access to its own eateries and the many offerings close by. Only downsides were a restricted number of car parks which meant our car was out on the street all night; and the lighting in the room is very subtle with a lack of bright lighting if you are doing make up as an example. Second time we have stayed and we will go back but will need to get there early to get a car parks

Wonderful location! The apartment was spacious and clean! Staff was very easy to work with. We used the included car which made things simpler than dealing with rental companies. We would stay again!
