Scandic Helsfyr is an excellent hotel with great value for money. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the amenities were exactly what we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional from check-in to check-out. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and the main areas of the city. Overall, a great experience. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Very close to bus and train. Beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast and restaurant. Staff was wonderful.

The hotel is modern and laid out very well. The rooms are clean and very quiet with thick double glazing. The room was warm too which was good as cold outside. We didn’t like the ‘separate duvets’ on the double bed but apparently this is a Norwegian thing. Not having any wardrobe or drawers was odd but luckily only a few days so kept things in the suitcase or on the small space for hangers. Breakfast was wonderful, highly recommended.

Hotel was conveniently located within same building as the Oslo train station

Overall the hotel had charm, but the rooms were dated, carpet was dirty in places and the service wasn't great. Specifically Tom, the booking manager, was very unhelpful and rude. Thankfully the hotel manager, Henrietta, stepped in and helped me. I would stay again if they did a complete remodel of all rooms and trained their staff in proper customer service and just being polite.
