The pools were fun. It’s great.

Our experience in staying at Maribago Bluewater was not really as wonderful as in the other hotels we stayed on this one month trip. At first , the room I booked was an old one. It smelled moldy. It’s good we were upgraded to the new building. The buffet was good but the venue was just too hot with so many flies. If you’re a beach person, this place is great for you. They have nice pools and a nice beach. The staff were amazing. They’re very friendly and respectful.

Very nice place , just a little dated. The staff is great and very friendly. The included breakfast was good. Will probably stay when in cebu again.

If you want to get away from it all , this is the place, this little island . No casino , no golf club, no cars, no TV, only adults , landscaping lovingly maintained , but not excessively, super friendly staff, incredible massage team. Bring books and relax and sleep off your stress , on this island you are condemned to do nothing but enjoy the hospitality.

The restaurant staff was great — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rest of the service felt pretty laid‑back, and getting assistance outside the restaurant wasn’t easy. The place itself is quiet and feels private, which is nice, but the food overall is just average with nothing particularly special. We visited the herb garden and the staff there were friendly and knowledgeable, which was a good experience. The biggest inconvenience is the layout. The check‑in counter is extremely far from the rooms. It’s manageable on arrival, but checking out is a hassle because you have to walk a long distance with your bags. They have a golf cart that could easily help guests get to the port, but it just sits in the garage instead of being used. Other than the few standout staff, the overall experience is just okay.
