Jimbour Kid friendly Vacations

The front staff was friendly. The room was adequate. We read about this Ascot online and it was not as put forth, said one could walk to the cruise port, and there was breakfast. Neither are true, it was an outdated website. Traveller beware of wrong not up to date web pages.

Good location but apartment is very basic, wasn’t very clean and bbq facilities on room barely work..

Location was excellent - close to all the southbank attractions and restaurants. while apartment facilities met expectations - accomodation was tired eg. dirty carpets; torn curtain and calcified shower screens ....it actally needed a detail clean.

Great hotel, very handy for what I needed.

The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to look after us through out our stay.

The hotel is desperately in need of renovation. However the location is good which is all it has going for it.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating however we encountered issues with the restaurant and they’re grossly understaffed because they were unable to cope with 6-9 tables of people and serving meals. We stayed at this accommodation due to proximity to the events center and paid for the shuttle service from this motel and confirmed with the staff we were on the 6.30 shuttle and if we’d have time to eat, so they knew we were on a time limit issued by the same establishment, we had an hour, plenty of time to order and eat however our meals still hadn’t turned up by 6.20 so we were given a refund and never got a meal due to having to leave to go to the bus waiting for us. Not a great start to a night out but this is a staffing and time management issue, it wasn’t busy. Overall the beds were some of the comfiest ever and really soft.

Please be aware that there are 2 constructions right next to the building. I was woken every morning at 7.30 am b y the noise. They will be working on these sites for a while. Also the bathroom and bedroom in a 1 unit apartment is very tight. There were also stains on the carpet which was not appealing. They ask you to empty the bins which I believe is not acceptable considering the price you are paying per night. Not sure I would stay here again.
