Badija Island Kid friendly Vacations

Everything good, im recommend

The property is in a beautiful location. The area Rose is a quiet fishing harbour with a few good Restuarant’s. Cars need to be parked to the edge of the village so it is car free zone. Staff are very kind and helpful… helping with bags etc. we did not eat in the Restuarant at the property but the food looked good. The pool and terrace areas are stunning. It is by far the best accommodation in the area. The only negative thing would be to people with mobility issues, due to the steepness of the steps. One absolutely amazing place to stay.

From arrival the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with parking our car and bags, the room was in the residential building which was incredibly spacious, pool area and the marina is such a beautiful setting, the breakfast had lots of choice and changed each day slightly. Both of us commented that it’s one of the nicest breakfast we’ve had, loved the different salad choices. Equally we loved how easy it was to walk on the beach front to other areas. Great bar in the heritage building and the pool and evening meals we had in the Augusto restaurant was divine. The spa was also gorgeous and the gym overlooked the marina. Overall an incredible stay!

As I booked for two rooms, one of them was still dirty including the bathroom and the floor. The hotel location was difficult to get to, the staff were new and they even didn't know that we have already booked and paid for the two rooms. The views were not as per the booking, on was viewing weeds and the other overlooking a carpark. Communication with the staff was difficult as they didn't speak good English especially the reception. The rooms were too small to maneuver and we had to put the luggage on the bed everytime we need to use it. The TV wasn't hooked to the Internet, and when connected very few channels worked. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, car park was available but getting to it was a challenge.

This seems to be a relatively new hotel, as there were signs of recent updates. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the location couldn’t be better—everything was within walking distance, and it’s right next to the Old Town. The hotel itself was clean and well-presented. The only drawback was the bathroom: the shower didn’t drain properly, which caused flooding. While the staff were quick to help by coming to mop up, it did take away slightly from the overall experience. Also breakfast starts very late and when going on excursions not able to eat. Not a varied menu.

Gorgeous hotel and amenities. Great location and so easy to use the city bus to get around.
