Veghel Kid friendly Vacations

As a solo traveller given a single room, it was an expensive and poor value booking at over 200 Euros. The room had no porthole or window, a small single bed, and there was furniture being scraped across the floor above until 1am. My friends who booked a double room had an altogether different experience, so it really depends on what you book. Otherwise the ship is great - brilliantly restored to its former glory and really interesting to explore; providing a unique hotel experience. The staff were super helpful throughout the ship. The amenities could do with a cafe/coffee shop for just getting tea/coffee. Also, it must be the only place where I've had a buffet breaksfast (which was excellent by the way!), that does not have a toaster!!

This would be a great 3 Star hotel! But it's meant to be 4 star and falls short! Very basic rooms, very noisy rooms, the noise of the bedroom doors closing is very loud! And the interconnecting room I was in I could hear everything from the room next door! Staff were very helpful though and the cloths steamer in the room was a nice touch! Very clean though throughout, bed very comfortable pillows not great though! The pool etc are in the hotel next door and are chargeable which was annoying and not explained in Expedia.

Rahman was the absolute best when we stayed at this property, we ended up coming back super late and had no food and he took amazing care of us. Property was nice nothing too fancy but we only stayed for one night. Perfect if you’re going to a concert nearby! 10/10 for Rahman

Overall an excellent hotel and experience. Clean and liked the option to request the room is not cleaned for a day, for which the hotel would plant a tree. Great location and the room was lovely. Only element that wasn’t in the room that I would have liked were bathrobes, but that’s a small detail and we’d definitely stay again.
