The Hotel is rather nice but portends to be a high-scale establishment which, we are sure, it once was. Have they had recent layoffs? It just felt that there was limited staff there. The sliding door outside railing was in need of some care; namely, it had much rust. And our room was NOT the only one. This should be a simple attentive fix. Then the large grass area was unkempt esp with many weeds formulating in areas. One of the Luggage Carts outside Lodge 3 was quite funky & in need of some serious TLC. This would be okay for run-of-the-mill Motel 6 type but not for a prestigious hotel. More importantly, Safety Hazard: My wife suffers from knee problems stemming from her high-school track days. The bathroom shower felt like an Egyptian sarcophagus. Seriously. My wife almost fell 2x; I once. It is basically a high (knee level) boxed shower stall that also serves as a bathtub presumably. It was quite hazardous having to "scale" this bathtub to shower. They should fix this at once NOT for us but to avert litigation. The shower's tile was quite nice however. The pool was great. The little "play" area was kewl. Only 1 pc in the lobby area. Seriously? The "snack gym" was tiny for a fitness ctr. Finally, the egress is HORRID & dangerous. It is right off the freeway. I realize the hotel was most likely built before the current burgeoning city population but it needs addressing esp w/unfortunate poor souls steps away begging for sustenance
