The hotel was very convenient to thr train and was very easy to get around and out of town. It was a nice walk to Galleries Layafette abd we walked to Montmarte as well. The area was very safe and we will definitely be staying here again.

The location was good and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful! The one negative was the shower was a very high step in bath tub which we were not aware of which was not the best for someone who had recent hip surgery. I don’t believe the pictures clearly showed that situation.

I’ve been to Paris three times now and this was by far my favourite hotel. The staff were all very friendly from those at the front desk, to those serving breakfast everyday, and those that were taking care of the rooms. The hotel itself is in a great location, not too far from main attractions but also quiet enough at night to sleep with the window open (and yes, the windows open for fresh air!). The decor inside was also very nice and tasteful and the room had everything I needed: small fridge, nespresso coffee machine (with pods provided daily), kettle with tea bags, safe, shampoo/conditioner/soal/body lotion. The hotel also had a small gym with a treadmill and bike + some small weights, resistance bands, and stretching mat. Additionally, there was a dry and steam sauna that you can use as part of your stay. I also included the breakfast and it was perfect! You can ask the chef to make you a fresh omelette or other egg dishes and/or do the buffet. The buffet had eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes warm and ready every day as well as a collection of jams and breads, cereals and sweets (muffins, croissants, brioche, etc.), fresh vegetables (cucumbers and tomatoes), a daily salad, cold cuts and grilled chicken, yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts and dried + fresh fruit. For someone who tries not to eat bread, the assortment of non processed food was perfect and better than most hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Plus you could sit in the dining room or take the breakfast to your room.

The Hotel Splendide Royal is an excellent boutique hotel in a great location - right off the Rue Saint Honore. It is less than half the price of the major five star hotels for a larger extremely well designed luxurious hotel suite. The breakfasts are not to be missed and included in the price. The service is highly attentive and personal.

Clean room, quiet hotel. We had beautiful views and the neighborhood was safe and amazing. The restaurants within a two block walking distance were also amazing. The entrance to the train station was less than a minute walk (highly recommend vs Uber or cab). I would 100% stay here again!
