Macedon and Spa Country Golf Vacations

The Dorsett Hotel was perfect for our weekend away to celebrate our son's 18th birthday. The staff (in particular Jake) was so kind to check us in early and also suprised my son with wine, chocolates and a hand written birthday card. A lovely gesture. The hotel itself is in a great location, the room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and sauna. I would recommend and definitely stay again.

Property was amazing. 2 bed apartment- well appointed. Eager to book there again.

Very clean and good convenient location

Wonderful over night stay with a group of friends . We began with a delightful late lunch in the mansion cafe . Followed this with a stroll through the beautiful grounds and gardens, touring the original mansion ( free for hotel guests) and finally relaxing in the heated magnesium pool completed our afternoon . Our dinner began with complementary drinks Im the hotel bar before moving to Joseph’s restaurant for a five star dinner . I must give a huge compliment to Jai our young waiter who was so delightful and helpful . Dinner was excellent and certainly up to the standard you would expect . With dinner completed we moved on for a game of pool on the full sized table located in an upstairs lounge area . As we are a group of 70 year old ladies this proved interesting and a very slow game !!! A few fell asleep prior to completing the game however a lot of fun was had by all … Next morning we indulged in a lovely buffet style breakfast ( included in the booking ) . We checked out by 10 am and headed to a very fun day at the Werribee Zoo . I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel for any special occasion although we would probably stay at least two nights next time .
