Clean room,

Room was attended every 3 days but was not thoroughly cleaned. The staff in general were polite and helpful, however, we had a couple of issues while we were staying. Some maintenance work was happening with what sounded like a heavy hammer drill from 9am on our 3rd day. After over an hour we went to reception to see how long it would last. To begin with they denied all knowledge and told us no work was happening. On our floor it was deafening and we couldn’t hear each other in the same room. Luckily another guest turned up and confirmed the noise 2 floors down. After denying to us the lady then admitted it would be happening all day due to maintenance. Fine but prior notice would have been welcomed and not denial when questioned. We also had 24 hours without hot water not great in that climate. The breakfast had great choice and was replenished frequently. Over all it was a great base for our stay and very close to the MRT and Chinatown. The cleaning of corridors, windows and blinds definitely needs to be improved and then it would improve massively.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, daily room cleaning service efficient. The drain in my bathroom was a bit tired and smelly and there wasn’t really anywhere to sit and chat if you weren’t in the restaurant, in the pool or in your room.
